CoB - Team 5 - Progress
« on: November 06, 2013, 07:07:59 AM »
Hey guys,

It seems our team is ready to go,
PLD - TBA
PLD - Jace Morgenstern
WHM - Maylyn Megumi
WHM - Varien Tutu
BLM - Godly Bebe
BLM - Choyi Kimura
BRD - TBA
DRG -Kazuki Tetsuya

I guess we need to sort out our availability for raids on a weekly basis.
Is everyone here based in SG?
I'm in Aus, and generally don't play too late, but for a couple nights a week I may be able to make some exceptions.

I would preferably like to start around 6 or 7PM (SG Time), which is 9/10PM in Melbourne Australia and go for 2-3 hours. Would this time be suitable for people... for say... Wed, Thurs ?
And how are peoples schedules in the weekends usually?
I was thinking in the weekend, we could do something like Sunday afternoon?

The other issue is drops. We've got a few double ups of classes, so we may want to organise how you wanna divide the drops?

Anyway, have your say!

I've heard Tutu is only available after 8pm.
SO maybe need to start around then, but hopefully we'll all be on tonight to discuss further

Regarding loot rules .. in CoB Team2 looting rules is pretty cool.
NEED while same job's loot encounter  . The one who won PASS on next similar job's drop
GREED only for NON-RELATED jobs of our team , and same goes to just in case drop others non related again ,
the one who won GREED previously should PASS also .
So everyone have a chance to obtain a reciprocation .

Choyi going on holiday soon?

Need to establish a solid time i think guys lol

8PM sounds good, however, I'm pretty busy this weekend.

How about we do 8PM (SG Time) this coming Tuesday (12 Nov)?

Successfully downed turn 2 last night!
This was our kind of our 3rd go at it, so good job.

Big thanks to Shanto Tto for helping out this week.

No bard gear?!

Well, now to do it over again.
Hopefully we can do it with less tries this week.

Hey guys,

Just posted in the COB Teams thread.
Here's a copy of my post:

Miley and I have decided to pull out of the team :(
With both of us being from Australia, and playing with SG players, we found ourselves having raid times starting at 11PM (and finishing at 1-2AM).

It's kind of wearing us both out for work the next morning, and my wife hates it lol

We'll still be on now and then, and will be happy be "fill ins" for any team if we happen to be around. Just hard for us to really commit to the usual raid times.

Anyway, could you please take us out of Team 5, and please allocate the next PLD and BRD sign ups to replace us.

Apologies to team 5! Managed to down turns 1 and 2 in our first week together!
Wish you guys all the best.
Keep us updated on your progression!

Team 5 is doing really good. Anyway Xeno, maybe you guys can work out as a team and see if can start slightly earlier? Or probably set a fixed raiding duration, like say, 2 hours? If can start at SG(GMT+8) timing 8PM, that will be 10PM on your side? Give it 2 hours raiding duration tops, and it will end at 12am on your side? Will it be ok? It will be good if you guys can work it out coz you guys are doing really great, to be honest.

Once you guys have more practice, COB will be a cake walk and can be completed in 1 hour. For example, I gave my team some "motivation" and told them, "I just need your full focus and concentration for 1 hour, take a nap/ break/ make some coffee or whatever you need before COB starts, if you guys have to. I want to see how far we can go within this 1 hour. Let's do our best!". To my surprise, everyone in the team did really well and we managed to down turn 1-4 within 1 hour. We are currently trying to down turn 1-4 within 45 minutes to slot in another 15 minutes for turn 5, once we manage to down turn 5.

All it takes is motivation and encouragement for the team. Work together and put in the effort together as a team and you guys will see wonders. :D
